From the Pastor’s desk…

September 15, 2017

Did it ever seem to you that God was on vacation, or that God has abandoned you?  Most of the time when a believer is having major problems it is automatically assumed that God is angry with them or has abandoned them.  As believers, we must learn to live in trust. We must learn how to trust God in all things, even when life seems to be very unfair.

Just because life is difficult for you today does not mean God has abandoned you. The truth is that perhaps God had your present trial tailor made for you. Perhaps you need to grow stronger in your faith?  God’s Word states, “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ”(I Peter 1:6,7).

David once said, “It was good for me that I was afflicted that I may learn Your statutes,” (Psalm 119:71).

God has something good planned for you today.  Trust Him with all your heart!
