 The Rev. Guy L. Myers was installed as pastor of the Maple Spring Church of the Brethren on
January 10, 2010. Rev. Myers was licensed into the Christian ministry in 1983. He received pastoral training through Logos Bible Training Center and through Trinity College of the Bible. He was ordained into the pastoral ministry in 1990 by the Western Pa. District of the Church of the Brethren. He served as pastor of the Conemaugh Church of the Brethren from 1988 – 2009. He has served as District Moderator,
Chairman of the District’s Pastor & Parish Ministry Team and the District Church Life and Growth Team. Pastor Myers is frequently invited to hold evangelistic services.
Pastor Myers’ wife, Wendy, has also been very active in the life and ministry of the church. She has served as a Bible study leader, Vacation Bible School teacher and has been involved in the Multi Media ministry. Wendy’s passion is in reaching out to those who do not know Christ as Savior, with emphasis on the neighbors of the Maple Spring Church.
Pastor Guy & Wendy both enjoy being outdoors camping, hiking, fishing, gardening and simply enjoying God’s creation. We are looking forward to seeing what God has in store for the Ministry of the Maple Spring Congregation.
