Sisters in Christ Women’s Ministry
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together . . . but let us encourage one another . . .” (Hebrews 10:23-25)
The mission of the Sisters in Christ Women’s Ministry is to encourage women in their faith walk, to become Sisters in Christ and to share Jesus’ love with one another. We strive to minister to the spiritual needs of the women of our church and community, to reach out and share Jesus with women who do not know him and to encourage and build each other up in our faith.
The ministry holds several events throughout the year between September and May. They offer a Sunday School Class which strives to provide an accepting climate in which women can feel free to share their feelings, thoughts and beliefs without criticism. A weekly Bible Study is also available on a weekday in a home setting. Recently the ministry has worked with community groups such as Mom’s House to share Jesus with women and children of the community.
